Just two short years ago Ludy Green founded Second Chance Employment Services to provide comprehensive employment counseling and job placement services to meet the special needs of abused and battered women. The non-profit organization has the support of dozens of volunteers and advisors whose assistance ranges from child care to even cosmetic surgery and dentistry. Keisha White, a recent client, shared her success story with the guests gathered at Teatro Goldoni for an evening of dinner and dancing. Secretary Tommy Thompson was represented by Deputy Assistant Secretary Harry Wilson, who termed Ludy "a general in the Army of Compassion."
